Visitation

The Probate and Family Courts generally encourage frequent and continuing contact between parents and their children. The age of the children and the parents’ respective schedules are considered. A parenting plan usually will consider dinner visits, telephone visits, week day visits, weekend visits, school and summer vacations, among others things, to fashion an arrangement that is in the child’s best interest and that will enable the children to spend as much time as possible with both parents.

However, if a parent has been abusive or neglectful of a child, there may be no visitation or parenting time, alternatively, visitation may be required to be supervised.

Attorney Barnes can represent your position to the court, establish your legal rights, and create a custody and parenting plan that works with your schedule and protects the best interests of your children.
